Listening to Trump's audio about how he's not contagious and how the gold star families loved him so much they hugged and kissed him and gave him Covid is one of the most infuriating political things I've heard in a while.

Fuck this guy. Get him out and then lock him up.

In Trump's mind, vulnerability/weakness is a serious insult, so he was trying to find a way of telling seniors that they are vulnerable with regards to covid without offending them. Didnt turn out so well, but it's quite clear what the intentions behind his rambling are.

Nah... Trump will never learn his lesson when it comes to this issue. He has downplayed covid for so long that politically speaking, there is only downside for him in doing a course correction at this point. If he had changed his tone/stance at the beginning of the summer, it would have greatly helped him. But now it's too late for that.

His policy is fine. The critics have no logical arguments other than that trump is a messy communicator
