Why should I care that thousands of my neighbors lost their livelihoods? Is that really the question that you, the all caring individual you are, want to ask of others?

If 1500 businesses were damaged/destroyed, the people who work there don't have jobs until they can rebuild. Don't be telling me about hyperbole, this is a real world consequence of the riots.

Its common sense. Its the reason why these riots are only happening in Democrat cities. Republican mayors have more than two brain cells so they put down insurrection.

Bullshit. The democratic mayors are responsible for cops corralling people and tear gassing peaceful protestors which escalates things into riots. The cop presence is the reason for the violence, period.

So when the MPD stepped away during the first nights after George Floyd's death and let its 3rd precinct burn down, the violence and rioting should have stopped, right? But that's not how it went down, not at all. Dito in Portland, where the violence did not abate one bit after the federal law enforcement troops were withdrawn.
