I think it's more strategical than that.

Imho, there is a concerted effort by Trump-world to sow division among the Democratic coalition and decrease enthusiasm for Biden among progressives/far-lefties. Perhaps they also speculate that this might bring back some of the female suburban women who lean(ed) Republican but trended toward Democrats over Trump's conduct and sexism.

yeah they’re slow playing it too. the official campaign ads right now show Joe being all cozy with China and that he’s been in politics for 4+ decades now and the gaffes etc. they’re letting the pacs and stuff handle the creepy Joe angle dirty work

if and when it really heats up after the conventions and around debate time i’m sure Trump’s campaign will amp up the creepy Joe ads what with him grabbing and sniffing children and assaulting his interns and all that really gross stuff

So basically recency bias will have women realize that Biden is the misogynist pig, not the man with 3 wives and confirmed to have cheated with pornstars. Not the man who said he’d be dating his own daughter and belittled her into getting plastic surgeries so she would be good enough for his hypothetical dating

no. this could have some women who said "i agree with trump's policy because im a sururban Karen, but he's not nice to women" instead saying "well biden isnt nice to women either, apparently, so ill vote for policy".

Please explain it to me as if I was a 5th grader. What policies does Trump offer the average American citizen? What benefits the average American by having Trump, please explain it.
