So, we have a phoenomena, when you drop an apple it falls to the earth.

This is true both in a gravitational model and the model you're proposing.

So why specifically would an apple in a gravitational model not float? I assume that's the point you're trying to make, that if gravity were real it would act on water and apples differently than what the phenomena produces. What im asking is specifically why would that happen?

More specifically water is a liquid, that is in a container. Without a container it would fall to the lowest possible point. So If i drop an apple in water its bound to the container, which gives the water form. In this sense the water takes up a certain space. In this way it is no different than a solid object sitting on top of another solid object in the sense that density matters with respect to which item can and cannot pass through another. This is the reason I don't understand your hypothetical as a critique of gravity, but try and answer the above more simple questions.

TBH i've always thought this was the real motivation. to be fair to CS he's not a strict believer in much, as compared to malice or qodesh who are deep into their beliefs.

Charter a private plane. you can fly in a biplane for not much at all, a few hundred dollars or even less depending on where you go. You can often even sit in the cockpit if you want.

You think literally every person who has ever got a pilot's license is in on the conspiracy to make you think the Earth is round? Do you not see how mad that is? Almost anyone can get a pilot's license.

It's like the movie World War Z. Card_sultan is the crazy scientist they make question everything even if it makes sense just in case somehow it actually doesn't.
