the most simple explanation i can come up with is Trump voters naturally are weary of pollsters, fearing becoming part of a fake news article, and do not participate in them. i'd have to do a lot of digging to verify that, if i even could, but science starts from observation. my eyes dont match up with what polls are saying. sometimes eyes trick you, but ill trust them and be happy to be dead wrong.
People who you do not know, have no cause to trust, who have a generally differing point of view than you having access to your information is in general not acceptable at a time when people are utilizing political violence, rioting, and various forms of doxing in an attempt to destroy any dissidents to their world viewpoint.
If you're in the wrong area and you answer polls pro-Trump, and the poll organizers are in any way affiliated with marxist movements such as Antifa or BLM, your livelihood, health, and family could all be at risk.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If I'm polled on who I'm voting for, my answer is Biden, and a straight D ticket no less, with whatever bullshit answers as to why that will get the pollster off the phone. What you say you're going to do to rabid political terrorists so they'll leave you alone has no bearing whatsoever on what you actually do.
