while the signs of a trend are there i would say it could take a couple elections before we say for sure. and ah yes the classic “i want the product that guy is selling, but because i dont like his sales pitch im going with the other guy who is selling a product i dont want and will harm me”

That's a bad comparison. When you buy a product, the product is not harmed by the personality or qualifications of the salesperson. By contrast, Trump's blunders and misguided decisions are affecting millions of Americans in a tangible way. This doesnt mean that the alternative is better, but it must be acknowledged. Even a voter who likes the majority of the policies coming out of the Trump administration has to acknowledge his tendency to shoot himself in the foot and fuck things up.

can't say i agree, you want to participate in bernie madoff's next hedge fund?

trump shooting himself in the foot is not a new development. if voters are that surprised and wishy-washy over a known 5-year attribute then that is just lol

Wanna put 500 fg straight up on Arizona going blue this year?

im game.

also down for another 500 on wisconsin. 500 on texas with 300 from you for some odds.

and a my 1k fg, your 100 fg parlay on Wi, ohio, michigan, and PA all voting blue.

No thanks. Generally not interested in gambling fg on the election.
For the record: I do think that there is some hidden Trump vote and that he will overperform his polls in the end. I just dont think that it's gonna be enough.

If I had to make an educated guess, I would say the odds for winning the election in Arizona imho are 65:35 in Biden's favor, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania imho are 60:40 Biden, Florida and North Carolina 67:33 Trump, Texas 85:15 Trump. (Texas will only go blue if Trump really falls apart between now and election day.)

If the election was held today, I would say 80:20 Biden in AZ, 70:30 Biden in WI and PA, 60:40 Trump in FL and NC, and 75:25 Trump in TX.

Product as in "physical product", as opposed to a (non-phsical) service. But ok, if you were thinking about financial products, then I see your point.

It has gotten worse recently. His instincts seem more off than they did previously, and covid simply exposes Trump's weaknesses in a way that no previous crisis did.

the trump vote isn't hidden like in 2016, its hidden to the pollsters, its plain as day when you walk around areas like mine.

the most simple explanation i can come up with is Trump voters naturally are weary of pollsters, fearing becoming part of a fake news article, and do not participate in them. i'd have to do a lot of digging to verify that, if i even could, but science starts from observation. my eyes dont match up with what polls are saying. sometimes eyes trick you, but ill trust them and be happy to be dead wrong.

This is true.

When pollsters ask “who are your neighbors voting for”, 60% say “Trump.

Uh. You’re really going to use a Ponzi scheme as your example of “a product”???

Can I get a tl;dr of this thread before I open up topics that may have already been mentioned?

I hate spamming and reposting

Or is it ok if I say something that's been said before?

Yeah actually on second thought, Trump is going to lose far worse than Paul did.

On second thought maybe I'll just read the whole thread.

I'm seriously so sick of hearing about Trump already; he's a fringe candidate who stands no chance at getting the nomination. He's this year's Ron Paul (gets tons of attention on the internet but loses by a landslide).

This aged nicely.
