The whole point is to centralize energy. It is a better strategy for leftist lunatics to simply own all of the windmills than to let the free market decide oil prices. If they had a way to simply own all the oil they would do so, but they can’t without large scale wars which are unpopular. Therefore they simply shame everybody into building solar farms and windmills and they pay for all of it, so they own all of it.

We subsidize the shit out of fossil fuels to the point that even though solar has been more cost effective for over 10 years pre-subsidy it only recently took over as more efficient. If we actually let the free market decide then we would be 10 years ahead on solar power right now.
