i looked into the cootie19 numbers in NZ they are really low. Perhaps it represents the true nature of how wimpy the cootie is. But instead of being forth right about it. they fraud the game and claim some kind of hero status.

I was at the hospital once for severe alcohol dehydration.

At the bed opposite mine was an individual of a certain race in a bed.

At the start of his stay he was completely coherent.

After fifteen minutes he was starting to freak out, like he was trapped in something and trying to break out. His family around him clearly worried.

Then he was saying he couldnt breathe.

Then he started calling for his mother. Foaming from the mouth.

Then he faded into the next world.

Fentanyl overdose.

Do you really think the cops could have prevented it? If they let him go, there was a 60% chance they would all get shot in the head. He swallowed an entire bag of fentanyl because he didnt want to get caught. Its possible that narcan could have helped, but is that the real problem here?

it basically is not much different than the flu. destroying economies is idiotic. fortunately not every state has a insane governor.

i mean, i realise that your main goal here, in regard to covid-19 and trump, is to downplay his role in the poor american response. and sure, there is plenty of blame to go around in the rest of the world, and many factors (many of which were originally in favour of the US) that make direct comparisons of numbers and measures difficult - but they won't hide the simple and undeniable truth that politicising the pandemic is directly responsible for tens of thousands of preventable deaths.
