I watched a little bit of the Green Party town hall on CNN last night. I'm glad the kooky left wing is getting some press coverage. I think Pollster's assessment was correct, the more Jill Stein gets coverage the more it helps Hillary.

Yep.

Bernie was the one to channel the Left. The Middle is always stronger than the wings though. The wings do keep the bird growing and flying by pushing the limits of possibility in both directions. If one of the wings were suddenly chopped off it would be a disaster, despite what the wings themselves think of each other.

The Middle is not always stronger than our wings. Moderates win elections, but they are not exclusively the best at solving complicated problems. Almost all of our greatest president were indeed not moderate, with the exception of George Washington.
