Age is just a number, this is about the mental acuity. Plenty of historic political figures of Biden's age have accomplished great things. The issue with him wasn't that he was 82 years old, the issue was the early- to medium-stage dementia.
That being said, Trump's decline in terms of sharpness and energy level is also noticeable. He's far ahead of Biden in this regard, but by objective standards, he's borderline too old, too.
Kamala doesn't suffer from age-based decline yet, she simply is - and always has been - a mediocre mind.
Age is directly linked to the onset of dementia, which is entirely the point. As we saw with Biden. Which appeared to be a longer, gradual decline in cognitive ability.
Age is also experience but at the cost of energy and awareness of and connection to a larger demographic of voters; So in itself is a factor.
I'm simply pointing out the irony of those that bashed Biden for being old, frail and weak; Now ignoring that Trump has become that exact caricature.
Biden had flashes of his younger, fitter self. The speech in Poland was rousing. The quip about his age at the UN was well received.
Aside from the moment where Trump raised his fist after the shooting, which was iconic and a solid image of his strength. It has been a succession of L's, especially in his rambling hour long monologues.
Worryingly Trumps descent into cognitive dysfunction has been fairly rapid. Most noticeably after the multiple court cases, first assassination attempt and recent TV debate; Where he was very clearly mentally impaired, rambling and basically unprepared for a debate.
As for Kamala, I'm no great fan. More likely apathetic. But saying she is a mediocre mind does not reflect her career as a lawyer, which is distinguished; She is anything but a mediocre mind.
And remember, the US elected GWB. Twice.
