You were addressing an important and interesting question: under which conditions should we shut down society again?
Unfortunately, you provided zero arguments for your outlier opinion that "it doesnt make that much more difference now". Entrepreneurs, owners of small- and medium-sized businesses, of restaurants, bars, hotels, etc all around the world are quite unambiguous in their assessment of the situation. It always goes along the lines of "we have barely survived the first shutdowns in spring, another shutdown would kill our business once and for all".
I'm open to counterarguments.
Digging a second time in the budget, "stimulus" again, of course, depends of countries, but here i know it can happen again.
Still it's a bit different, probably less deaths per day, not a complete containment. Medical staff is not able to catch a second rush, again.
Measures are slowly increasing. Yet i think they should double-tax Amazon. French people are stacking money more than ever. 70% increase in savings.
