Our national Coronavirus app launched today, and I gotta say it's pretty neat.

Even though IT done by govt is generally trash, the development of this app was entirely open source. Source code can be found here: https://github.com/minvws

Hopeful news makes Trump look good so we have to double down on the hysteria and say that COVID gives you brain damage though

Working in a biology lab the last year has taught me one thing.

If there's a rule you learned in school, biology will find a way to make that rule not true everywhere that is important.

Sure exceptions will always exist, this field we are talking about is all about trends. Viruses are small enough where there are a number of shared antigens which make antibody responses more efficient for your body. The hospitalizations with repeat covid seem to be mild which backs up this notion
