Lol, actually the ruble went up while the US stock markets are tanking - or at-least that was what I read a few days ago.

At any rate, I don't give a damn about fiat currency. I am a proponent of cryptocurrency and actually hope the US dollar, the ruble, and all other worthless paper fiat currencies collapse completely as soon as possible.

The collapse of FIAT currency will be a huge crisis and cause devastation for many people, but it will also take away funding from the US government to wage their evil and demonic wars all over the planet.

Yes I have a level 96 lightning sorc, but that does not mean I am obligated to show it to you on command. In truth, I hardly even play d2r anymore, and don't have it installed on the laptop I'm using here. I would have to break out my gaming pc out of the closet just to log in and it's just a pain in the ass I don't feel like dealing with right now, especially considering I still have to work my *real* job inbetween posting here.

*If* I feel like it, I will set things back up over the weekend so you can see her. I played the game religiously up until about a month ago.. she's fully decked out with a griffons, infinity, anni and enigma. I also have like 7 mules full of random crap gear, a barb for trav, 2 other lvl 90+ sorcs that are dedicated to pvp, a bunch of midrunes sitting around, and a spare jah sitting around that I haven't bothered to sell yet. Honestly though, I'm burned out on the game and more interested in elden ring right now than diablo.

At any rate, if you really want to see her I will try something for saturday or sunday.

don't necessarily agree with everything (for example i think he overestimates ukraine's military capabilities as well as domestic dissatisfaction / unrest / opposition in russia - not only because russian public opinion is heavily influenced by a strictly censored press, but also because russians are used to a certain degree of hardship, and because it's russian "tradition" to violently oppress civil protest), but it's a pretty solid analysis of how putin manoeuvred russia into its current position, and how to explain those clumsy and transparent false flag attacks.

i read recently that a majority of both russians and ukranians have direct relatives in the other country, this would literally be a war between brethren

There is so little appetite for opposition to Russia that Americans will react strongly even to economic measures that are double edged swords, like any sort of sanction on Russian oil/gas.
Boots on the ground is unthinkable, even arms support for Ukraine has flopped in the EU beholden to Russian gas imports, and now Biden is waffling on even the most toothless sanctions
