I'm going to be totally honest with you right now.

Every time you post I actually feel bad for you.

I really don't know what's going on with you.

I really don't want to respond because it seems to me that you have dementia, alzheimer's, or like you had a stroke or something and it doesn't really seem fair for me to say what I want to say.

It wasn’t just the California Republican calling out the conservative hard-liners. Many of McCarthy’s frustrated supporters, too, unloaded on the band of detractors. At one point, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), the top Republican on the House Armed Services Committee, pushed the idea that any Republican who opposes McCarthy should be stripped of committee assignments.

looks like pubs going to spend next two years slap fighting each other.

How many times do I have to tell you that I'm an independent moderate?

I'm being serious, do you have dementia and are incapable of remembering anything for more than an hour?

Even unpacking your statement, the logic doesn't make any sense at all.

So you're telling me to lie to myself because you won't answer a basic question about your well being?

Especially when I'm telling you that I can tell that something is wrong and that I don't really want to sit here and have a political "debate" with a person that might have had a stroke.

Which, the stroke theory makes some sense too, because it seems like to me that the part of your brain that is suppose to be evaluating the information you are receiving doesn't seem to function.

It's like you're obsessing about some video you saw on the internet (of which there are billions of videos on the internet) and can't seem to square that information up with what most people would consider to be common sense.

I'm on vacation for another week, so if you're thinking that you are accomplishing something by wasting my time, I regret to inform you that I am fully aware that I am wasting my time... I'm actually doing it intentionally because my career is a lot more high stress than this and I always wish I had more time to talk about important things like politics.

That's a given since the republicans don't have control of the senate or the presidency, so they won't be able to pass bills even if they can stop fighting each other and pass one through the house.

One of the key problems with the republican party is the fact that it is a "big tent party" that is comprised of people with different political goals and ideologies.

If they attempted to put through rational bills that actually helped americans then maybe they could get a couple passed.

You know when ever the control of the government is split, I always feel like it's a great opportunity to pass bipartisan legislation that would actually benefit the country, or at least make reasonable comprises.

But in the recent hyper politicized world since the Iraq war ended with a complete failure to locate the "WMDs," the republicans have mostly taken the stance that they don't want to be viewed as "aiding democrats."

So common sense type policies end up stalling out because they "don't want to make the other side look good."

But that isnt true the Biden administration has already passed many good bills such as:

inflation reduction act (taxing the rich)
veterans care act
The CHIPS act
Enhanced background checks for younger gun buyers
strengthening the violence against women act in march
Not to mention the 2 trillion infrastructure billl

and more...

all of these had some republicans that supported it, its because no matter how cold some far right voices are there are republican politicians that want to improve things for people, believe it or not
