Sexual assault and rape happens irrespective of bathroom policies, and the mishandling of this by school/district leadership is also independent of those policies. I get that it's a +1 to confirmation bias to the anti-trans crowd, but it makes for poor argumentation.
The first rape happened because of the Obama restorative justice anti-school-to-prison pipeline policy. The subsequent coverup, persecution of the victims family and second rape happened because of liberals trying to defend a transgender bathroom policy. Its telling that the biggest 'gotcha' from the MSNBC crowd has been to say that the rapist wasn't actually a tranny, he was just 'genderfluid' and happened to wear womens clothing and was allowed into the girls bathroom under their policy.
Theres a reasonable argument that absent such a bathroom policy, he easily could have dragged a girl into a bathroom and raped her anyway. No honor system rule is going to stop a determined violent felon. But what we saw in this case is the rapists mother had pleaded with schools for years to help bring her son under control, and instead they enabled and defended him and turned him loose even after the rape. We saw a very politically motivated school district wantonly lie and cover up and perjure themselves to hide a tranny raping a girl in a bathroom because they knew how bad it looked for the transgender bathroom policy they were championing at that same time. They tried to attack and threaten and arrest the father and claim he was the only aggressor in this story, and ita their coverup of the first rape that enabled the next.
They deserve the criminal charges. Aren't there also mandatory reporter laws in their state? If not, there should be
