Read the thread buddy. I post the topic and raise 2 questions, now note the 2 woke clowns (fender/sauceman) completely ignore these and unload a load of garbage as per usual.
Their governments shit on Qatar and at the same time secures gas deals which is frowned upon by critics in their own countries, lol
It's hypocritic so you're wrong.
I don't know why you try to drag in other shit, I'm not going to address it here unless you link the topics and I'll reply ;)
Criticizing someone while doing business with them isn't hypocritical unless there are ample other options.
if i criticize McDonalds bathroom because there's feces on the wall but then order mcdonalds that's only hypocritical if there's also a taco bell, burger king, subway, and 2 other McDonalds in town.
France and Germany are trying to end a relationship with Russia, who is committing serious human rights issues, and they've moved on to Qatar who is also committing human rights issues but less bad ones arguably. if they had an option to buy gas from a squeaky clean county they likely would.
often when i hear people write words like "irony" or "hypocrisy" it become clear quickly they dont know what those words mean. and to be fair almost no one, even english as a first language people, use Irony correctly. many americans likewise struggle with the concept of hypocrisy.

The governments in question are hypocritical, but the people living there don’t support said governments in all they do and are free to denounce the treatment of migrant workers in Qatar among other things.
correct, although i'd add that i dont think the govts are terribly hypocritical either.
