That contract is invalid and should be illegal.

In your opinion, sure.

In reality it’s a legally binding contract that can be voluntarily signed or rejected. Freedom of choice.

not only that but punishments are almost always escalating to send them the message. first you get fined, then you get suspended, then you get mega fined, then you get mega suspended. keep fucking around, keep finding out.

The "choice" between your freedoms and your paycheck is not a real choice.

They are just a troll - they want to build an argument at which point they can fly Nazi flags at work as "freedom of speech" and businesses are not able to stop it.

You are free to do it, without violating any laws, and businesses are free to fire your ass for it.

There are plenty of jobs to chose from

If you don’t like the rules you have to follow at a certain job, use your freedoms and find another job :)

I'm upset that my gas station won't let me fly the nazi flag behind my cash register!

Or better yet, how about employers don't have rules that force people to give up their freedoms.

No one is being forced to do anything though? The employee is voluntarily agreeing.

I have the right to sleep but my employer won’t let me sleep on the job.
So bullshit, my rights are being infringed

This isn't analogous to what we are discussing. An employee exercising the expression of his political beliefs on his own time does not harm his company in any way, but is sometimes punished. This can't be right.

You haven’t given an example of this happening.
