"his money is already made" - what an incredibly stupid thing to say. His "money was made" when he was a surgeon. Then he sold out to make even more. Now he's running for senate to set himself up with connections to make even more for himself and his family.

Since when has somebody like Oz ever said "that's enough, I'm done accumulating wealth and power now". As a Catholic you should honestly be ashamed to have said this.

It doesn't seem like you've really thought through your position. Oz is bad but effective. That's actually worse than being bad but ineffective.

oz is a foreign agent, he shouldnt even be qualified, therefore, your concerns would also extend to him. how can he function in a role of US senator while he holds citizenship and title and is a registered voter in another country?

i was editing my post as i used the word foreign agent instead of foreign voter.

what he does vs what he says are two different things and trump muddled those lines immensely. there is no reason to believe that oz won't do the same and because there is zero accountability for anyone in congress, whose going to care? there have been serving candidates who have gone through similar situations as fetterman. he will have aides and a team with him.

I think what he means is that he’d rather have an "empty seat" by having Fetterman than someone who’ll actively be a negative driving force.

As a surgeon, he would be worth low 7-figures. He's worth low 9-figures as a shill. That's a lot of money. Anything he gets out of politics won't compare to that, he wants the power and prestige.

The counterpart to this race is what's going on in Georgia. Walker is clearly mentally challenged. Probably the CTE, but it really doesn't matter. We have to consider that the right choice might be Warnock, his awful positions non-withstanding.
