Yes they can. A lot of these facts are really easy to determine. Did so and so win? Did event X happen? Does policy Y exist?

You talk as if facts were the only thing ever talked about on twitter. They are not. There are a lot of other things, such as drawing different conclusions from the same set of facts, having a different interpretation of events, espousing certain beliefs, believing in certain narratives...etc etc, all of these things can and some of them have been silenced by twitter.

Was Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist mass shooter? Did Joe Biden engage in quid pro quo with Ukraine to protect his family’s financial interests with barisma? Did Joe Rogan receive the “kitchen sink” group of medications and recover from Covid 19 within a few days? Is there a possibility Covid 19 was a product of gain of function research in the wuhan institute of virology? Did doctor fauci relay inconsistent guidance on how to protect yourself from Covid 19? Is it safe for children to consume Lupron?
