always a chuckle that someone who claimed to not afford rent first year in politics is driving around in a tessie and still complaining about it. re-election campaigns for govt jobs pay incredibly well if you are a swamp demon!

The hyper loop is about a 100 years old as a concept and will never be economically viable.. It's literally just worse trains. One leak and the whole thing is shut down and potentially kills everybody on board.

The tunnels are just worse subways.. They don't solve any issues choose that an underground tram doesn't solve better.

In theory you might get them to work but they are hundreds of times riskier than a train in the events of failure and thousands of times more expensive.

They are the reason why it's a meme that Elon Musk is so smart he keeps inventing worse trains

Besides, when it stops to let passengers on or off, wouldn't that break the vacuum?

Anyway, I think it's good that Musk wants to solve the problem of people having to drive for hours just for a short distance, but really that could simply be solved by having better transit systems.

Doesn't Britain boast about having busses that arrive every 3 minutes? Just copy what they do.

How about you try to show where I was wrong instead of calling me stupid?

Yeah, I know, that is too much to ask of you.

Hyperloop trains would utilize airlocks, similar to those used in space, to add/remove air when trains arrive and depart. They'd enter the airlock, a sealed door would close behind them, then air would be pumped in to allow passengers to enter and leave the train. Once that is done, the air would be removed from the airlock, and the forward door would open to allow the train to leave.

I see, thanks for explaining.

Sounds like a lot of work though, tbh.
