I think they voted for it but always thought it was against "somebody else" now their HS daughter will have to give birth to the black kid. Fuck up her life too
all hell will break loose.
Abortion will not be outlawed across the country lol, it just won't be federally forced to be legal in red states anymore.
Abortion will still be legal in all blue states and probably in all or almost all purple states too. Some two thirds of the U.S. population, and easily 80+% of Democrats, will still be living in places where it's legal.
fender already summed up where the true injustice of this decision lies: some red state women who are either poor or living in very remote places can't get access to abortions anymore - but everyone else still can.

I don't think this is aimed at the Justices. I think it's aimed at US. The Justices are pretty much immune to political pressure so they are likely trying to get Congress to do something about it.
Imho, this leak is aimed less at spurring action from the current Congress and more at the midterm voters/the future composition of Congress.
If things stay on the current trajectory, Dems are gonna get slaughtered in November. Shifting the political debate to an incredibly polarizing issue on which at least 50% of the public agrees with them and which galvanizes a crucial group of swing voters (educated women) is a much better proposition for Dems than a midterm election about inflation or making an "OrAnGe MaN bAd!!!"-redux the central pitch of their campaign.
This pretty obvious political ramification was also noted by Jonah Goldberg:
