LePen is from a Multi-Millionaire family (her father is still alive), not Macron.

Btw i may add: rich fuckers who have no moral can win elections while getting alot of the poor rural vote, then cut their subsides, healthcare after that

I finally figured out why you are so braindead obnoxious.

You're French, and not only that but one of the many sheep voting for the globalist Goldman banker Macron.

Lol, what a joke your once proud country has become.

France had to pick between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, so whatever. I just wish the result had been closer, so that Macron had started his second term with less political capital to enact his toxic agenda.

Still, I'm not sure whether he will get a majority in parliament in a month or so when these elections take place. Normally, the electorate rallies behind whoever won the presidential runoffs and gives him a working majority in the legislature. But this time around, it could be different. Melenchon, Le Pen and Zemmour voters all hate him and made up a majority in the first round of the presidential.

My analysis of this election is that Macron benefitted from a three-way split of French policits between a centrist block, a right-wing block and a left-wing block. Macron's centrist block is stronger than either of his populist challengers on the left or the right, which allowed him to win the runoffs - but on its own, his block is well below a majority of the actual electorate. In the past, voters of center-left and center-right parties would have flocked to his LREM in the parliamentary elections, but they were so badly decimated that that might not be enough for a legislative majority this time around.

Question if someone from france could assist me with.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/ng-interactive/2022/apr/10/french-election-2022-projected-result-and-latest-results

The Orange, Blue, Purple Map under Detailed results.

Does that represent country vs city
or
does it maybe represent where different types of people live?

congrats macron

looks like there havent been enough people massacred in the streets or heads chopped off for the french to want something else

this was the very last chance, have fun being in a third world shithole in 20 years tops

on the positive side, macron will keep the german/EU money flowing to france, which is definitely better for them than le pen starting a nationalist economical agenda in these times

I think if populists had some form of intellectualism attached to it and didn't have such shitty foreign policy, they'd be a lot more popular. I supported LePen the previous election but she was an unacceptable choice this time around. If she had threatened to be extremely aggressive towards Russia by sending troops into Ukraine or something along those lines, I would have supported her.

The kind of president you deserve.
