lol ya for elon being some member of the board be a hassle cramping his style when he could just troll the dirtbags at his leisure.

Elon is trolling softly & it's pretty comical but it's not good to romanticize it because despite him being 1kX better than the twitter lib mods, there's no way he got all that money being a humble joe so i'd watch out for the divide and conquer.

Most likely they need him to do something massive that the disgruntled naysayers can't do and then he'll peace out and it'll be worse than before.

So in actuality he could make it better but he wouldn't have all that money if he left the world a better place so it's not going to end well for the truther community unfortunately.

There is an argument to be made that social media should be run as a public utility, but the right wingers calling for regulation on social media are too dumb to write effective laws so that'll never happen.

the law has never really been the issue, just make it the same as we have in public. no porn, gore, threats of violence, etc.

it's the federal govt having to take on the responsibility that follows that is a massive issue. we'd need a whole new department to do it effectively or even ineffectively.

if twitter is run by a shitty automated mod, who cares. its the same as a dominos app not letting you order pizza. if the govt cant get it right its a serious serious issue.
