I feel sorry for you if you really think that a dude who gets an 80% popularity rating simply by being a decent guy and genuinely looking after the interests of his people would need to act like a dictator.

I am acutely aware of the true nature of all the different proxies that the US has supported over the years, such as the openly Al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria and now Neo-Nazi's in Ukraine. You'd have to be blind not to notice this pattern. Before Syria & Ukraine, it was happening in Libya, and before then, all over Latin America.

Do you understand how much suffering this constant support for the worst and most violent dregs the US can find has caused in the world? Well, I do. This is where my obsession comes from.

It's not possible to compare the Russian leadership to the Ukrainian one. The Ukrainian one is sickeningly violent and has no care for human life whatsoever, while the Russian one tried to give peace a chance for the past 8 years until said peace was no longer an option. But you have people like Santara come along and say, "no, actually Russia is worse and Ukraine aren't neo-nazi's", even though that's blatantly untrue. Naturally, I find such stupidity annoying and will counter it in whatever way I see fit.
