We pick and choose who goes where based on assessment. I've sent over 6000 people to places like this over the past six years. It is all individual. I think its silly that you guys don't believe the same natural evolution that created the sexual dimorphism of the animal kingdom and humans alike, which established females as exclusively capable of gestation and males as having greater muscle mass, bone density, less fat, greater height and weight, more lung volume and red blood cell count, would lead to gender roles and sexual division of labor. You want to wave your hands and dismiss the fact that non-sapient animals exhibit gender roles, as do all pre-historical evidence of early human civilization. It wasn't an evil patriarchy suppressing brave and powerful women that resulted in male hunters and female gatherers, male warriors and female child rearing. Women's tits have a function, men's don't. Men are naturally more aggressive, that's just a product of natural biology, its our preprogrammed nature for boys to play with GI Joe and girls to play with Barbie, sorry Disney, you're not fighting Jehovah, you're fighting Charles Darwin.

fixed. its seen as a business, not a service, from what I understand. Its the perfect example of capitalism just as this topic title is the perfect example of braindead stupidity.

To expand on the gender point, it is true that raised in isolation, a man or woman has the same needs (food, water) and that in community (historically or in certain communities/cultures/societies) certain roles are assigned to men while others are assigned to women. however this is not the same thing as there being no difference in genders. The fact is that there are biological differences. I will defer from saying that men think differently from women, accepting that this may in instances of transgender and even biology, may not be a true statement.
