I don't think the important thing here is an actual answer to the question, what is a woman. It's the fact that such a question needs to be asked at all. Some posters in this thread are correct, only in western countries is this question even entertained. When you go to any other country in the world, whether it's Thailand, Japan, China, or some countries in the middle east, people don't even have to think about such a thing.
