There's nothing wrong with releasing a cookie-cutter statement against racism, homophobia, and hate after an alleged attack on a famous actor. Especially when the president at the time and the political party he controlled often behaved in a racist, hateful, and cruel manner.

I really don't get the Trumpists. The performative cruelty of Trump and his cult is one of the reasons you all love the guy so much. It's why the term "vice-signaling" was invented. Stop pretending otherwise.
