They really haven't.
Do you think that in 2004/08/12 more than half the field in the democratic presidential primary would have raised their hand for open borders and free healthcare for illegal immigrants?
Do you think it would have contained a guy openly saying "hell yes, we're gonna take away your AR-15s"?

Like CRT, a wholly fabricated issue by Republicans that is not taught outside of graduate programs that a large portion of the country, you included, completely fell for.
Of course CRT in a narrow sense is an academic framework and far beyond the scope of high school classes - but this does not preclude its core tenets (racial essentialism, collective guilt) from seeping into school curricula all over the country.

The most common argument is "Oh you can't have mass immigration and a good welfare system" which is demonstrably false, since Europe allows people to move about via the EU and has a robust safety net, and we had stronger safety nets prior to the 80's and much less immigration restriction.
The EU example is crap, you don't know what you're talking about in this specific regard. The movement of workers between EU countries with different levels of social safety nets is causing a TON of frictions and abuse; it has strained the housing markets in Western Europe and fueled xenophobia long before the non-EU migration picked up pace in 2014ff. Without this intra-EU migration, there would be no Brexit.

Trans issues are virtually non-existant among most Democrats.
It's not just about trans issues, Democrats/liberals have also moved sharply to the left on feminism/women's issues.

dude, you're literally just brainlessly regurgitating what FOX and other right wing propaganda outlets tell you is happening. you're completely brainwashed and lack perspective of what's actually happening in politics. an actual caricature of a right winger these days. no wonder you lick billionaire boot so eagerly...

We moved staunchly to the right on Immigration, and it's largely resulted in the accumulation of illegal immigrants, not prevention.
Laughable.

Republican stances on immigration are roughly where they were back in 1998 while Democrats have zoomed left on the issue.
