And then the administration somehow shits out this absurdity of a headline in some unforced error that completely obliterates their credibility with any sane americans.
I mean, if you checked the poll numbers you'd find more support for satanic child rape cults than "giving million dollar reparations and citizenship to illegal aliens"
Now, I charitably want to believe this wasn't some intentional policy initiative and rather some conservative operatives / think tank / journalists on a mission managed to conjure this story by digging into existing lawsuits at the right time. I mean, why in god's name would an administration ever shoot themselves in the foot this badly? Even for Joe Biden's track record of incompetence this would be a whopper.

The best thing you can say is that democrats don't really have much at stake to forfeit right now, and are imploding on their economic bill and disfavored in virginia even without this kind of story in the headlines.

But for real. The government blatantly violated the human rights of those families and they should be compensated. Everybody should when the government does so. You dont lose all rights by being here illegally.

I don't think this is going to be in the news for very long. The people who are swayed by this are already voting red. Having said that, if this is to settle a lawsuit....what kind of damages are we actually looking at here? Will we be liable to pay out even MORE if they don't settle?

Best part is its directly trumps fault.
