Using its intersectional approach, it will attempt to develop strategies to work towards equity on the basis of race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, age and socioeconomic status, specifically focused on the discrimination and bias faced by Black, Latino, Indigenous and Native American people, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders and other people of color.
Most of the rest of it is devoted to issues like expanded healthcare coverage to more black / latino families and eliminating cash bail and other such national gender strategy related concerns.
I for one am glad that this administration has listened to the priorities and wishes of its most fervent supporters and is developing the policies they have long called for.
What sorts of advances can we expect from a new generation of gender studies graduates and fourth wave feminist scholars?
There was not a single occurrence of the word 'men' or 'man' in either of those referenced links. Truly an equal an equitable national strategy all constituents can get behind.
