TIL: the vast majority of modern western nations granting women a fundamental right makes them "la-la land"

No. I did not say modern Western nations are la-la land. I said NetflixAdaptationWidow's reality is la-la land, because he apparently thinks bodily autonomy should trump the right to life.

, while religiously motivated, sharia style backwards legislation is "normal" to you, lol.

I am not for sharia-style laws. I am not a Christian either.

if you think most humans don't need religion or a higher entity (not a weak man like yourself) to have a framework for what is morally right vs wrong, then you are arrogant and egotistical

just open a history textbook to see all the stupid shit lack of religion has caused people to do. genocide, eugenics, wars, just stacks, and stacks of gruesome evil shit. not to mention, the dumbest part of the country is literally where people like you live

This is basically saying "I want you all to believe my lies and whims."

And this is just admitting you don't know how language works

He also doesn't seem to know the historical context of the Crusades...

The Crusades were self defense after 200 years of Muslims invading Europe, burning down churches, and raping women and children.

Europe would be 100% Muslim if not for the Crusades.

Without Christianity you wouldn't have the scientific method, the germ theory of disease, or the steam engine.

"July 11, 1924, Fish found eight-year-old Beatrice Kiel playing alone on her parents' farm on Staten Island, New York. He offered her money to come and help him look for rhubarb. She was about to leave the farm when her mother chased Fish away. Fish left but returned later to the Kiels' barn, where he tried to sleep but was discovered by Beatrice's father and forced to leave. Three days later, Fish killed Francis McDonnell, also on Staten Island. During 1924, the 54-year-old Fish, suffering from psychosis, felt that God was commanding him to torture and sexually mutilate children.[10]"

either most western nations "think" that, effectively making them "la-la land" by your definition, or you simply don't quite understand what "right to life" means. either way, your backwards views might be "normal" for people like you, but fortunately most modern secular nations see that differently.

a more honest framing of the issue is that your morals should not trump a woman's bodily autonomy. you apparently think they do though...

The original question was whether it was right or wrong. You are moving the goalposts slightly.

Religion doesn't innately make people evil or violent is the point I want to express.

It is argued that without christianity holding back the power of the sciences for over 500 years, it implies we would be way farther ahead than we are now without it.
