I've lived in Buffalo most of my life. Having 4-5 month winters is getting old to me. Then you have like 3-4 months of decent weather with rest just kind of sloppy. Idk people are different but I noticed in my self that my quality of life is way better during life May-Sept.
May to Sept is also my best months. Best skidoo months are from May to end of June. Atv to Sept. I typically am on the land every weekend except this one because the dog got spayed this morning. Finally vets are travelling to small places for clinics again now that travel has opened.
24 hour darkness for four months is rough but I travel usualy during those months and get out. Best skiing months are Jan and Feb which lines up nice with the period of time here that I can't do anything due to negative 70 weather.
Sure there's no hospitals no restaurants zero shopping but I don't need any of that. Just sealift in our dry food once a year. Aero garden and propagate greens inside the house. Fish and red meat come off the land when when I'm out.
