The Democrats walked out to prevent the advancement of a key elections reform measure, which includes limits on 24-hour and early voting and mass mail-in ballot distributions, and more requirements for absentee ballot identification.

What about nerds who freak out because a woman was on the battlefield game cover? Seems like a weird thing to be upset about.

i roll my eyes at pandering forced inclusion to meet quotas. i dont get mad. ive never blamed not getting something on minorities because ive never been on the cutoff line to be edged out due to a quota.

I'm having a hard time understanding why expanded voting rights should be rolled back because the pandemic is mostly over. If making voting easier does not result in a bunch of fraud, why would Republicans oppose it? And if making voting easier benefits Democrats, how is that inherently bad? It's almost like you're arguing, "when we make voting easier for people, Democrats get more votes, so voting should not be easy". It's not an argument based on any principles, it's an extension of the long history of voting restrictions in America that disproportionally target black people, and harms Democrats. Is that what you're supporting from Germany?

legislative vote dodging aside, i have found it humorous my whole life that the GOP strategy to victory is increasingly making less people vote in order to win. its pathetic.

They already have structural advantages, like the electoral college and Senate, but still insist on restricting avenues to vote. It's one of the many reasons I'm voting Democratic for the foreseeable future.

Btw, spelling out "Democratic" over "Democrat" makes more sense today than it ever has in recent history.

thus is the crux of being the party of values held by the past generation in the era of the internet which is not only changing values at record pace but connecting groups of disenfranchised people like never before.

they must evolve or will consistently lose, and yet their diehards want a return to MORE conservative policy to groom americans into returning to 1950s Andy Griffith show culture.

when ur most fervent supporters are the most wrong you lose. same issues apply to Catholicism, and explain why its slow death is all but confirmed in America.

I was just talking about a woman on a video game cover for a WW 2 game.

I thought it was beyond silly that people were angry that a woman was on the cover of a game made about a war filled with woman combatants. Shows people will get upset over anything, especially not being pandered to.
