No, refusing to support an ally is not supporting the cause of their enemy. Using this logic the government could easily mandate expenditures to any number of foreign nations by the citizens. If the government wants to support an ally, it can do that with federal policy including financial aid, it can't do that by mandating expenditures on the populace.

No, it's a pretty awful comparison because you're taking a principle that applies to everyone equally (sanctions against rogue states). We're pretty strict when it comes to not discriminating in our country which is why organizations such as the KKK are allowed to participate in the "Adopt a Highway" program and things like that. The government granting a contract to someone does not mean the government is endorsing every single view that the organization stands for.

The BDS Movement is trash and largely antisemetic but it's no different than boycotting China, Armenia, etc.

Yet the persons/companies in question are explicitly justifying their refusal to do business with said ally with their support for the cause of the ally's enemies...
