The majority of Americans remain partial toward Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with 59% saying they sympathize more with the Israelis

59% of americans are Jewish? i never knew

I don't know enough on the issues to choose a side. But I'm all for peace. Those rockets are insane. Couldn't believe living there through all of that.

The conflict is truly saddening, especially since it seems there's no amicable solution possible (outside of wishful naivety). Two sides completely resolved to see portions of land remain under their jurisdiction, to the point of waging all-out violence. Saddest of all are the civilian conflicts who end up being collateral. Cease fires have only delayed the inevitable, and all peace talks are without substance if Israel is going to continue to occupy Palestinian regions while Hamas continues to fire rockets in Israel.

I wonder what are those “Palestinian regions” that Israel occupy?

No one is going to accept word games on this.

So your claim is going back to 1980 will solve the conflict ? The Palestinians rejected that idea in the past.

Edit: there is no doubt that Israel has occupied Palestinian territory.
My claim is that A. It’s difficult to determine which territory is occupied and which is not. And B. Giving back land isn’t going to solve anything cause the Palestinians at this point simply wants the whole thing minus the Israelis

Try 1967. Yes, I know the green line was never an official border, but I also know the world considers it a de facto border, and continuing to expand settlements into the West Bank endears you to no one other than the settlers.

I’m an Israeli and I believe that if drawing a border line was the solution to the region then the conflict would have been already resolved.
I personally would vote for that anytime.
IMO the conflict can only be solved when the Palestinians drop all their claims for the “right to return” and accept Israel as a legitimate state. Then we can start drawing lines on the map.
