This is some strange scientism? Candida auris is a budding fungi, does that mean its not a fungi or a yeast because it's evolved into more than just shooting spores?
Your argument is that mushrooms are a hallucinogen, therefore yeast is a hallucinogen, and therefore people who have yeast infections become mentally ill from the hallucinogen.
This doesn't work because
1. Yeast isn't a mushroom
2. Even if it was, not all mushrooms are hallucinogenic.
3. Not everybody who is mentally ill has yeast infections
4. Yeast is probably the most studied organism in the world and we know for a fact it is not hallucinogenic.
Literally fails on every level.
