Biden is making totally conventional, pedestrian cabinet appointments. But because of the contrast to Trump, you're praising him to the skies for those picks. There is a difference between acknowledging that Biden did something good, and putting him on a pedestal because of it.

Which kind of experience or stature does Kerry have on climate change?

Sad state of affairs when pointing out the president is picking well qualified candidates is seen as putting him on a pedestal

Its going to be fun to watch u make excuses to criticize pragmatic centrism for the next 4 years while continuing to act like u didnt like trump.

lets the tears flow like the waters of the Minnetonka.

"what hes doing is fine but you're acting a bit too excited about it" sounds so much like hyperbolic TDS that it should give u pause, it wont.

It's a welcome change from appointing people whove spent years trying to fuck over the environment to a position of overseeing environmental protection. Honestly the trump admin was the most blatantly corrupt admin I've seen in terms of how many conflicts of interests came up in appointments.

Criticizing swampy cabinet picks is different from criticizing Biden's policies.

No tears, I'm just giving the other side a taste of their own medicine. After Trump was barraged nonstop for often times completely petty and miniscule shit, you guys are in no position to complain about enhanced scrutiny toward Biden.

The statement was not that Biden is picking well qualified candidates, it was that he is picking "the best" candidates.

Youre going out of your way to nitpick what best means because there's nothing to criticize in the decision.

I expect similar nitpicks for the next 4 years as you struggle to find substantive criticism

Trump was barraged for minuscule and inane levels of corruption alike. He was literally the most corrupt president weve ever had. No exaggeration required.

You guys are getting your hopes for Biden's political position (pragmatic centrism) and quality of governance (no point of substantive criticism) up before he's even sworn in, lol.
But sure, I'm just a salty trumpist and a fucking idiot when I point out that you idolize him without proper evidence that your high hopes in him are actually justified.

If he really governs as a hyper-clean and -efficient centrist, I'll happily eat crow. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that he won't. Imho, he will have his fair share of blunders and scandals, and will stray to the left on some issues to placate his party's progressive wing. Rest assured, there will be room for substantive criticism.

Exactly. Trump gave his detractors more than enough reasons for legit criticism. Which is why I dont get why he was additionally blasted for absurd nothingburgers on top of that.

See for example the "he overfed the kois"-story:
