I contested the assertion that democrats are superior and the party of science compared to the supposedly anti-science republicans.
I talked about their anti-science "CONSENSUS!" shouting strategy designed to shut down debate and thinking.
Democrats seeking to shut down and dismiss any debate and skepticism is not particularly pro-science.

I also contested the idea that people without a medical degree should be written off as 2nd grade flat earthers with no grounds for questioning people with a degree or those appointed by government.

It should be obvious that government does not have a monopoly on the truth, knowledge and science.

The accurate argument is having an equally educated person come up with counterviews and have a rational conversation. This is not akin to the average Americans view. Yes the average American can “believe” whatever they want to. Policy deciding is for adults
