Exactly. It's a matter of informed consent to the kid and the parents. You don't just get to experiment on people because they're in prison or juvy. You don't lose your rights to not be experimented on. Skinned, Handcuffs, and I all have experience in the medical field and some degree of medical training, so somebody editorializing this into an issue about forcing gender transition really just elicits an eye roll because it shows how little perspective that person has on medical care. (This isn't the first time he's made ridiculous claims like this. He's pretty clueless on medical ethics so there's also that) So far I haven't seen any evidence that their "experiment" was to cause a gender transition, eliminate his toxic masculinity, or any of the other things Goom has claimed.

I generally do. Particularly if its a coercive measure that is weighed against their freedom.
But I recognize the world of a difference between protecting society from a dangerous criminal who has done something clearly evil, and society saying its protecting an innocent child from himself because we want to play god

Just estrogen won't cause a transition as far as I know. Theres more to female hormones than estrogen.

No not really, HRT usually only involves estrodial as a female hormone, combined with spironolactone as an antiandrogen. Everything past that is superfluous, like the dubious use of progesterone. Or the use of analogs like GnRH, same thing.
Go look up any recommended HRT dosages and prescriptions, its not some cocktail of hormones.
