They also did their duty. At the end of the day, Bernie Sanders is so selfish, that he won't even join the Democratic party.

Talk is cheap, friend. Biden helped get millions of people healthcare. Prior to Obamacare, you could be kicked off your plan if you ended up with cancer. Prior to Obamacare, if you were poor, but not in poverty, you were ineligible for healthcare. That's PROGRESS. I think you're coming from the perspective of extreme privilege. You HAVE universal healthcare. WE don't.

what i'm saying is that you won't ever get this 'extreme privilege' (which is the norm in every developed country btw) as long as you vote for politicians like biden, who are beholden to the very people that have every interest to deny you that 'extreme privilege' - because they get stupid rich by doing so.
biden's political record is pretty abysmal, and full of examples of him siding with his donors over the best interest of his voters. it's borderline insane to expect him to do anything meaningful about this considering who his donors are...

Um, then why do we get progress under these 'corporate democrats?' I don't think you understand how difficult this is given that Republicans are FUNDAMENTALLY against the government TOUCHING healthcare. I trust Biden more than anyone b/c he gets results. Under Biden, we WILL get a public option. That will be HUGE.

I can't believe the establishment/black people are supporting the guy who can actually win and maintain/expand these gains.

perhaps its not so much about Biden providign progress, and more about Biden preventing a second Trump term from inflicting further damage?! Trump could attempt to repeal Obamacare entirely if he's reelected and the GOP retakes the House. he would most definitely leave a supreme court and federal judiciary which are so conservative that even a progressive president with solid majorities in both chambers of Congress wouldnt be able to get anything done - and not just for one 4-year term, we're talking about solid conservative majorities in the federal courts for 1 or even 2 full decades.

your entire line of reasoning is based on the assumption that Bernie would have the same chance in the general against Trump as Biden, or perhaps even do better.
