The real issue is that we market things to kids. Candy, clothes, TV shows, amusement parks. We should truly ban fun in the name of protecting kids.

The proponents make a really strong point which is this targets kids and the young really well.

Vaping became really trendy with people between 10-30. I think that’s problematic considering we don’t know the long term effects.

Between the hundreds of flavors and the fact that it doesn’t produce actual smoke and it uses tech is a bad recipe for usage rates. I really think a lot of the kids vaping today would of never started smoking but they are vaping for some of the above reasons.

They're vaping because nicotine feels good, makes you mentally alert, and carries minimal health effects.

Comparing nicotine use to cigarette smoke displays a lack of knowledge on the subject that should probably preclude one from having an opinion on it.

Obviously they are vaping because of nicotine addiction but they are choosing vaping over smoking for the reasons i mentioned, which as i said resonate with young people. My point was if vaping wasn't so trendy many kids would never even have started. Highlighting a few positives of nicotine doesn't somehow take away the laundry list of negatives.

I would like to share. If you spend 5 minutes, closing your eyes and picturing smoking a cigarette in your hand; bringing those fingers to your mouth in anticipation, breathing deeply, enjoying the exhale as you imagine smoke. You might realize, you have no idea how to breath and that might be 50%+ the problem. Yes, Thor and Widow if he is still around know what I said. <3
