nothing imaginary about the smell of that city nor the increasing demand for outdoor toilets to keep the piss off the streets.
used to be people from my country flew in just to walk the streets, the number of streets these days you can walk in the light is diminished. and the number of streets you want to walk at night is almost extinct.
keep snarkily making fun of the crime in our big cities, since decades, while your own cities follow the same trajectory. your posts will be reaching "trump argues trump" levels soon.
urban areas skew dem, crime skews urban, crime skews dem. and it's all the republicans fault, wait wat?
Criminals don't vote. They usually don't even work.
We just rejected the decriminalization of drugs in Ohio:
https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/hamilton-county/cincinnati/ohio-voters-soundly-reject-issue-1Not total decriminalization but would turn possession of anything into a misdemeanor rather than a felony. I'm not a criminal, yet I voted for this act. I don't think a lot of heroin users went out and voted so that they will not be charged with felonies anymore lol. The heroin vote isn't very strong. Neither is the burglarbloc, or the mugging lobby.
I think that if we are going to close all the mental health hospitals and open more jails we should at least put the mental health hospitals and substance abuse treatment centers within the jail along with vocational rehabilitation because the number one reason of recidivism is the inability to earn money after discharging from an institution whether it be a state mental hospital, state penitentiary, or even long-term substance treatment which can last up to a year. There are none of these things because recidivism means repeat customers if prisons are profitable so it is in their best interest to send people who have been incarcerated back out into the world unequipped to live within the social contract, which is something they are known not to be able to do. If people come out with more self-worth than when they went in then they will be more likely to live healthier lives when discharging back into the community to be our neighbors.
I know you don't think criminals are coming out in wide numbers voting for democrats, but some retarded fucks here do and I'm mainly addressing them as to why prison reform is just rational best interest to all of us and not a liberal issue. One person to look to for a role model in this is Nathan Deal, the Governor of Georgia, who has people working for him in government who were incarcerated in the past and doing great now.
