The way Jim Acosta framed the question was not dispassionate and objective... it was biased. Trump allowed him to ask a question with a couple follow ups before he wanted to move on.... and Jim acted inappropriately by refusing to give up the mic.

Of course the White House are incompetent liars... so they make up a story on top of that, instead of just saying that Jim acted inappropriately by doing what he did.

People like Jim Acosta give Trump and company ammunition all the time to attack the media as a whole. It's true that Obama, Bush, and Clinton faced tough questioning frequently, but a few in the White House press corps respond to the administration's hostility with hostility of their own, and that just feeds the Fox News narrative of media bias.

Gun to my head - I say Trump wins 2020 without too much struggle or concern. It's tough to uproot a president on his second term. The economy is doing very well which is always a main concern.

Democrats really don't have a strong candidate at this time - the field is shaping up to be just like Republicans in 2020 with 8+ people.

I just don't see Trump losing unless some crazy blunder happens.

I’m no expert but I’ve seen a few of these interactions and I’m surprised it took this long . The guy seems to always ask loaded/leading questions and steer the discussion into some accusatory/confrontational tangent, but that’s the shit-tier journalism CNN has become nowadays.

Sorry but that’s not quality journalism, it’s rude and you don’t have some inherent God given right to keep monopolizing question time, time after time, meanwhile other journalists with questions get no time.

imo Acosta is specifically trying to get kicked out permanently to give his reporting "credibility" to the leftists that bother to read it. Trump would be wise to not honor that, and instead just blandly answer his questions with a Tucker Carlson face.

People keep acting like this is an isolated incident. Acosta has been doing shenanigans like this for a while. When we were finally able to reach through to North Korea, this asshole decided to to take it upon himself to create a scene for his own glory.

Acosta epitomizes what is wrong with American journalism these days. They seek to create the news instead of providing an honest report. I feel like there are a lot of people who go to college for political science, fail at politics, so they resort to journalism and media to be political activists.
