Saw this on a FB post, and I can agree with it (Thundercock already touched on it earlier)
Note: It only really applies if it actually is a senior Administration official, and not just a low level functionary LARP'ing.
"1 - This is the first major attempt by a part of the GOP to distance themselves from Trump.
2 - If someone truly believes the President is insane, they need to say it publicly and push for the 25th.
3 - To claim Trump is insane, but to not doing anything about it other than run their own shadow government, is a fucking coup. This isn't some spy thriller in their head, it's treason and against our Democracy. "
The notion of using the 25th amendment to remove Trump is insane. It would cause significantly more damage than leaving him in office until he loses in 2020/2024, or is forced to resign for some reason. We have to remember 1/3 of the country are retarded, paranoid sycophants of this guy.
There's a difference between someone being insane, and someone just being stupid, erratic, and unhinged. I'm not sure the anonymous senior person is saying Trump is insane.
I think we should watch our language here... especially when InfoWars talking points have gone mainstream. People taking papers off his desk or ignoring certain erratic orders is not a coup. Trump appointed these people... so the fact that they have to resort to those actions says much more about him than it does them.
To add: I think people in his administration should stand up to him in the traditional way, which is to resign. I'm sympathetic to NatSec figures staying through almost anything though.
