i'm not saying you ARE wrong. I'm asking you to back up your own "facts" that i contend you're pulling out of your shitbox.
I'm directly saying that your assertions that:
1. Voting is easier in the city
AND
2. That the country lifestyle makes people less likely to vote in an election
I think are both false. the fact that you only presented them separately and never spoke to their connection (still haven't really) is where the goalposts come in. But let me make it easier, prove either one of the two things above with facts, studies, stats, etc. The one i'm most interested in is a study on where it's easier to vote, because from my standpoint it's infinitely easier to vote in the country around here. City voting is hard as fuck.
If standing in a line makes something difficult then they are failures at life.
I'm okay with people choosing to not vote, as it is their right. My problem is with people complaining of wanting to vote, then claiming there are barriers and refusing to overcome those perceived barriers to vote.
Also that is a terrible analogy as goalposts, as it is usually used to indicate that a person isn't anywhere near the topic of conversation.
As to studies. I don't have any. I didn't draw my conclusions from studies just observations of how people live and reasoning of what I know.
If you feel like changing my mind by presenting studies I'll gladly consider doing so but I don't feel like looking for any to back up or learn whether or not I'm wrong.

You say this because you live in a city and ride the bus - or is it something that you assume and because you think it, it is a fact?
There are buses where I live and I live in the neihborhoods of detriot. I also lived in GR for two years.
