How much is the fine anyway? I don't recall. I've seen $1000 and $5000 thrown around. Gotta be $1000. Still though. Considering my total yearly premiums will total over $3000 (and this is just health, not including dental, vision, etc.), I'm starting to wonder if it's better to just take the fucking $1000 fine. But, then the realist in me understands I could end up in some car accident that I could have no control over.
