The farther you go down the flat earth tunnel the more you are forced to shake you head. Its truly a mindbogglingly stupid theory. Anything they cant explain scientifically or logically they just call it a grand conspiracy. Satellites? Don't exist. Space travel? CGI. The space race in the midst of the cold war, likely the most contentious competition between the two greatest superpowers of the modern era? A ploy to hide the fact that the earth is flat. Not making that last one up.

You don't have to make it up, supposedly it makes itself up out of nothing.
Also China went to the moon as well, go look how realistic their program is

If the Earth were flat, then we'd have exactly 12 hours of sunlight, each and every day of the year.

So traditional vietnamese silk tunics (ao dai) are part of the free masons now? not very secretive to meet in public at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.

There is a problem:

Let x = y, (just like mass & gravity which necessitate eachother)

then

x−y+y=y

x−yx−y+y=yx−y

This is where it stops being true. If you replace x by y each time you end up with

y - y^2 = y^2 - y

Which is not always true.

Yeah, in his third line he did not add equivalently to each side. And flipped the sign of the y on the right. Not very good with algebra.

The OP isn't trolling though. You haven't been around long enough to see all the crack pot theories over the years that he has subscribed to and spammed here.

Its amazing how the reason filter just turns off for some people and they latch onto every last one that comes across their path.
I get a good amount of 'the chemtrails' and the 'jet fuel dank memes' and the flouride, and the 'its like all riggeddd man, bernie woulda won NY' and the 'ban cars or the earth is going to be destroyed. tesla cars!' from 2 specific people on fb.

Anti-vaxxers all over my fb and family and friends are subscribing to this belief it causes autism.

And when I tell them that even if it did potentially cause autism, would you want your kid to have a bunch of fatal diseases or potentially be autistic, they got no response.

To make sense of your idea we must assume the following equation is true and that acceleration due to gravity is -9.8m/s^2 at the surface of the earth. These calculations are going to be made at the equator.
a1 = v^2/r

where
a1= acceleration due to centrifugal force
v = velocity of rotation
r = radius of the earth (6378000m)

to determine the velocity of rotation we will take the circumference of the earth at the equator (known as 40074km in the spherical earth theory) and divide that by the time it takes for one full rotation (rounded to 24hours or 86400 seconds)
40074km / 86400 seconds = 0.46382 km/s or 463.82m/s

a1 = (463.82m/s)^2 / 6378000s
a1 = 0.034m/s^2

Now the net acceleration acting on the water in this system (assuming the centrifugal force is acting in the opposite direction of gravity) is the sum of the acceleration due to the centrifugal force and the acceleration due to gravity.

0.034m/s^2 + -9.8m/s^2 = -9.766m/s^2.

The acceleration due to centrifugal force is not enough to overcome the acceleration due to gravity and therefore the rotation of the Earth does not cause water to spray into outerspace.

hey op care to address this or do you believe water should be flinging from the planet due to centrifugal force still?

I don't think he understands the difference between a ball rotating tens of thousands of times per day and a ball rotating once a day tbh.
