Economic preeminence? Military preeminence? The domineering impact American culture has had on the globe?

Political power as exercised through organizations like NATO and the UN?

Agricultural production? Agricultural exports? The highest standard of living for a country anywhere near its size?

I mean, sure, you can nitpick and find a few small things that are better in countries that are poorer than the United States or that thrive off a world order set in place by America, but America itself is unquestionably on top.

Much like Skinned you've merely listed off a number of attributes the US possesses.

Maybe military dominance, etc, is what YOU think makes a country 'the best'.

But You've failed to define 'best' in any sort of objective sense. Nor have you defined what it is 'on top of'.

Also, the US does not have the highest average standard of living. Maybe for the richest it is 'the best' but not on average, especially when adjusted for inequality.

Instead of jumping all over the place, pointing out all the things America is good at, try forming an actual argument with deductive reasoning that demonstrates that murica is 'the best'. For what reasons is it 'the best'? How do these reasons reinforce whatever definition of 'the best' you decide to come up with.

The point your making I think and I agree with is that there isn't objective standard people will all agree on

It's just nationalism I don't see why it's pseudo though - just not deductive by any means

People like their own countries - trying to shove that down another persons throat is futile of course - but what do you expect from a troll op post like this anyways

America isn't "the best" at any one thing, or even a couple things, except maybe our military equipment.. We have alot of flaws like the fact 70% of Americans cant read above a 4th grade level, or we have an excruciatingly bad health care system. There's also the blind patriotism, the "America is better than every other country in the world", without knowing much, if any, of even our own history. Alot of Americans talk alot of shit about the French and other countries, but most of them have no idea who Gen. Lafayette was. And that whole "entitled" spiel is true. Most Americans will go to another country and expect them to speak english, to know our customs, and myriad other things, but will refuse to learn even the simplest greetings or customs from that country...

That brings up an interesting point - what does the fact most countries teach English mean?

That the US and England are conspiring together to create the NWO and have one language across the world.

That multiple industrialized western nations have English as a main language. It'll be Mandarin that everyone starts learning in a few years.

while chinese (written) / mandarin (spoken) will become more important one should not forget that it takes quite some time before another language becomes the lingua franca
spanish has a good chance, once hispanics have overrun the usa and start to outbreed the other races :D
