If you live in the US she can petition a court to subpoena you for a DNA test.

It's sort of an odd situation. If you don't show up for the birth at all, and contribute absolutely no money to the pregnancy, and never once acknowledge the possibility it is yours, the court will pretty much do nothing.

If you go to the doctor with her, go to the hospital when shes in labor, help pick out names, or anything like that, the court will typically order a dna test.

My advice: If you truly want the best chance of not getting roped up at all, have absolutely no contact with her. Since this is likely to make you a social pariah, I suggest you leave the state.

The people who are pro-life are rarely actually pro-life, they're pro-birth. They're usually the kind of people who are against taxes being used to create a decent living standards for all citizens.
The leaders that are pro-choice do much more to stop abortions from happening than their pro-life counterparts. And they didn't do it by shooting Dr. Tiller while he was in church.

Me? I think that killing sucks. But it's the way of the world...life isn't sacred, just resilient.

I was on a tank crew in the army, did two deployments. How could I still possibly believe life is sacred?

Seconded.

1. I've already covered how she might not be pregnant.
2. Self-evident.
3. YES, for several reasons.

If the kid is yours, and you don't want to raise it,

GET IT ADOPTED!

There are plenty of adoption agencies around the country that help out all sorts of people, including people who are in bad economic straits. My cousin was adopted through one, for example. And you'll still be able to visit the kid if you want!

Also, abortions are NOT good birth control. They can have terrible effects on the woman's body.
