if you dont know ALL of it, then you know NOTHING.
We don't have a complete understanding of gravity, and yet we can make very accurate predictions of pretty much everything on the macro scale. Would you say we know nothing about gravity?

also, the majority isn't always right, you cannot simply say just because the scientific community accepts it that its' absolutely correct, they used to think the earth was flat
That's factually untrue and it's a shame that they teach it in schools. Ever see a picture of Atlas holding up a sheet of paper? I don't think so. He was holding up a very round Earth.

also, the world we live in today agrees that abortion is ok, just because the majority of the world says it's ok, it's not, so you can't take what the latest papers have to say as absolute truth
that's why science books are always updated, every year a new edition is printed out
Abortion is a moral issue which doesn't have an absolute truth to it. New science books are printed every year primarily so they can sell more books (yay capitalism!). Have you ever seen two editions of a textbook side by side? Usually the questions are changed around slightly, but little information is added. Sometimes different examples are offered in the text as well, and a clearer explanation will be given as well.
